Today I supported Hacked Off's campaign for a free and accountable press.
This move was inspired by the Daily Mail and Richard Littlejohn. Littlejohn’s horrific vilification of Lucy Meadows tragically lead to her suicide. Then, instead of taking responsibility for their actions, they deleted the article (but you can still read it here. It’s heartbreaking). Perhaps if the Daily Mail reported real news instead of bullying innocent people, she’s still be alive.
